Let's Go Fishing!

Want to learn more on how to fish? What rig to use, which bait and where to go well now is your chance to tune in to WA's community television station Access 31 and maybe learn a thing or two.

Local fishing identities Gary Shugg and Jo Small from The Complete Fisherman and Camping in Nedlands along with Bob Slight from the Boat Skills Institute will present a bright and informative 13 week series on the how when and where of fishing and boating skills, ideas and tips for the recreational fisho and boatie.

This half hour show will let you know what is new in boating and fishing and also how to catch the big ones, Gary will also teach the budding angler how to rig for their favourite fish, Jo will demonstrate the best way way to cook that fish of a lifetime and Bob will teach you how to easily operate your boat and safety tips along the way.

Let's Go Fishing was born from the old series Tightlines which ended 12 months ago but due to popular demand a new and better produced series has been filmed to keep the recreational anglers of Perth informed on what is happening on the local scene.

The 'Big Fella' Justin Cahill will also appear to keep all those fly fishers happy and you never know you might learn a thing or two along the way. Let's Go Fishing starts on November 5 at 7.00pm and repeated on Saturdays at 4.00pm (although the first two Saturdays the show will be screened after the cricket at 7.00pm) so tune in to Access 31 and join the Let's Go Fishing crew for some fabulous fishing fun.
