    Default Slow down!!!!

Hey all. Went to Wilbinga with the missus on Sunday. Great trip to test and christen the patrol(and of course wet a line) As everyone knows, there are so many blind areas on the tracks especially cresting and even with arials , red flags and lights on it's still warrants slowing down. I hear so many stories about head ons and near misses all the time up there . We're always so damn vigilant that we basically crawl over and around till we see what's comin. Just a shame to spoil a great trip by being a little complacent.
Our GU 3.0 perfomed surprising well with busted arse 20 % HT tyres. Look into BFG's soon.

    Cheers

    +1 on what he said.

We were there on Saturday, and witnessed 4 and 2 wheel drivers doing their best to make themselves "temporary".

Not only is there the danger of collision, tearing up the tracks doesn't do anyone any favours. Makes it hard work for other people to get in there and enjoy our rapidly disappearing coastline. Not to mention our diminishing access rights.

Gridge - was there anything on the end of those wet lines?

Maaate ... I reckon anyone keen enough to dive that reef will retrieve thousands of dollars worth of plugs and poppers!

So far, the handful of fish I've caught from there are costing me about $50 a kilo. By the time I add up fuel, lures, bait, beer.

Still, where else would you wanna be?
