Some really good sized crabs have started being caught in the bay this past week by the boaties. Plenty of squid is on offer over the weed beds. The good weather has seen boaties heading out in search of reef fish with pink snapper reported from the 4 mile and beyond.

Beach anglers have found a few mulloway at Peppy Beach and Wonnerup while whiting and herring have been widespread from local beaches. The estuary was fishing well for black bream although the size of fish was down.
